Wow love both tanks! Your betta reminded me of mine, He was in this lil box (no jokes, his fins were constantly bent as he had no room) and when he got put in a 7G he would only move like 7cm. Thankfully he was a "new" shipment (only in there for a day) and that the store is shut down!
LOVE the vids of the 150G, it looks like its a tank that never stops!

Did your betta ever warm up to his new home?

That said thanks. It is true that tank is always full of activity. Speaking of which I put down a bit of chopped silverside, and two trips back to look at my tank later and I got treated to this:

Queen not only came out but was swimming actively around. :3

Queen is huge and beautiful! I think she's warming up to the place. Just how big is she?

Koi, I'm not really sure. I know for sure she's over a foot. That is about all I know.

Also I've been messing around with the layout of the 20 gallon. Right now I am limited on where some plants can go due to their need for higher light. I've concentrated those under the t5. Those will be moved once I get the better hood.

Thanks. Well he explores more but he still seems to want to hang out around one side of the tank and keeps derping around the bubble contraption.

No, he died 9 months later. I Love the new layout by the way!

Aww, sorry to hear.

Layout is...kind of tweaked again. It just felt like something was missing. I took a piece of wood out of the big tank and added it to the 20. Makes a huge difference visually and now the Betta has a cave to boot due to the twisted way the thing is shaped.

EDIT: An update on the big tank, this Sat my brother is coming over and the entire stand is getting shored up/beefed up a bit. The stand was not made well to begin with so the additions of to help strengthen it will be a good source of mental comfort.

Wow. Queen is big. How big do you think she get?

I like Blue-Gill's tank a lot better with that one piece of driftwood. It can really make a tank. I can't wait to see the plants come in.
