As some of you know my son recieved an ADF for his birthday. After researching and learning more about these little guys I found they like company so I got another to go with the first one. Then I found out they need at least 3 gallons a piece so I got a bigger tank for them. I am going to try to put one of my bettas in there tank with them and see how it goes. If he misbehaves or the frogs act stessed at all he will go back into his current tank. Here is the picture tell me what you guys think.
very nice job with your tank, it looks lovely. I bet your frogs will be quite happy in there. I have no idea about adding a Betta, how they will get along. Hope it works out for all of them.
Thank you Inga. They have been together now for several hours and so far they are gettting along fine. The betta flared a couple times but that was it. He was stareing at Iggy (the lighter colored frog) and he moved and it scared the betta. LOL
That looks really good.My lfs has ADFs and every time we go my daughter stands in front of the tank-"Daddy I want a frog".I guess I'm gonna have to get her a tank set up for them.
That picture was before I put them in the tank. I ended up haveing to remove the betta because he started picking on the frogs. Hes the one in my avitar. I think he is very pretty but just to aggressive to put with other fish.
Yes they all are different. I have had them in with community tanks before and never had a problem but a friend of mine tried to put one in his tank and it killed 5 of the other fish before he relized it was doing it.
my new platinum red plakat is doing quiet well in my community tank too.. nothing bad so far =)
