Spontaneous tank purchase- my new 29 gallon!

How do you feel about zebra dinos? or puffer fish? I think their cute. but I guess the puffers need brakish water.

Dwarf puffers are fresh-water only, but they can get a bit aggressive lol.

I do think DP are adorable, but other than the aggression factor, they are also really picky eaters which I just don't have time for . I got rid of about 15 guppies by putting an ad on craigslist, but when the guy came to get them they hid in the jungle . I actually thought I only had 3 or so left, and then after he left they all came out and I had 10! Of course, this wouldn't be too bad if they didn't multiply like crazy, so I'm still deciding if I should put another ad, or just give in and bring the females at least to the fish store (which I'd feel kind of bad doing but it would be much easier). Then I'm going to get a pair of gouramis. Anyway, here's a pic that I took yesterday. And that's after doing a little snipping to plant some clippings in my 15 gal!

I had a spawn of guppies like 2 weeks ago, but both thankfully and sadly, only three have survived lol.

Isn't it terrible that we have to hope that they get eaten? I mean, I feel so bad when they are just little fry and they get gobbled up, but any other way and you're overrun :/

Yea it is unfortunate because the little buggers are awefully cute. I think I may have lost another or something because I only see two now. They are too big now to be eaten by anything in the tank though, so they should be fine.

The problem also is that they are a dime a dozen, so no one wants them :(

Well unless you happen to carry some rare ones. I think these babies might turn out to be black phantoms like thier daddy :) Hopefully the black comes out nice and dark like his.
