Oh just pool filter sand. Tank has 2 Bio-Wheel 350's and they both came with an adjustable mid-level strainer for the intake but I lost it for the one on the left. The one on the right still has it lol.

I love real plants but have had bad luck with them. I think I'm going to practice growing them again in my new 20L, it's a good size and foot print to develope a green thumb.

love this set up. beautiful work on the stand and canopy. i had a stand custom built and i am in the process of building a canopy myself. canopy wont be anything special but i think it will look alright
