These are some recent videos of my planted 55 gallon. I might add some pictures tomorrow

This is a day and night video. Took some tweaking of the camera to get good video under moonlights. I think it turned out pretty good for being so simple.

Then a video of my panda garras in the same tank! Doing what they do best, being adorable and friendly <3.

The Panda Garras must like the taste of salt. Cute! What was the eel looking guy? HE doesn't uproot plants in there? He seemed so big, and it seems like he would have a hard time manuvering around the plants. I love the look of him but I have restrained myself to not get anything like that for fear of them uprooting all my plants again.

Oh my god, your panda garras are soooo cute! I've never even heard of them let alone seen them. Now I must go find out everything about them!

I love your panda garras!! I want some badly!! Where did you find them and how much do they noramlly cost? Also, what that eel liking fish? What kind of cypts do you have? Lastly very nice setup, both plants and fish.

Late with pics but whatever lol. My garras are a few years old and came from anubias design when he had a good deal on them. Including shipping is was still about $8-10 a fish. They are wild caught fish.

Eel was my male caecilian aka a rubber eel. He's an amphibian and not a fish at all. He's currently fully grown at 2 feet long. He doesn't uproot the plants much at all as he's lazy.

The crypts are a mix of green crypts and brown/bronze crypts. Bronze crypts are one of my favorite plants. They have really pretty leaves.

GREAT photos. Not only is your tank lovely but you take some of the most beautiful pictures. Do you use CO2 also? Your plants look so nice too and all that color suggests high light and CO2? That eel is really cool looking. You have a lovely selection of fish as well.

Yes this tank does get pressurized CO2, though I don't think the CO2 levels run that high. Lighting is 2 WPG and bulbs are 9000K. It gets a lot of fertilizers so it can maintain its crazy growth rate. Then a lot trimming to keep it under control lol. None of the plant in particular are high light though, most are actually low light. Its why I wined up with buckets of extra plants a week lol.

Well your tank is lovely and I am a bit jealous. My plants are just starting to rebound and hopefully will look lovely again soon but until then, I am jealous. Also I love all your fish. My water has too high of a PH for some of the fish I really want but I won't put the fish in a tank they will be miserable just so I can have what I want. Darn PH.

out of curiosity what is your pH?

My PH is 7.6 fairly consistently sometimes it is down to 7.4.
