Planted tank in progress

This is a newly planted tank which I've just finished setting up. I'm not completely happy with the arrangement of the plants at the moment, but have more to add to it tomorrow and will rearrange things then. I'm also going to add another bag of eco complete (under estimated the amount the tank would require).

I'll post more pictures as the tank progresses.



And this is four new inhabitants floating in the bag this afternoon...

Day 2 and I've added more plants. I still want to rearrange things a bit, but I'll wait until I've added more Eco-Complete which will be next weekend. I'm going to get a couple of rocks, and maybe some slate if I can find any.

Wow looking good, btw you can get slate rock at B&Q.
Get a few rocks, break them up, file of the sharp edges
and you have some very cheap rock for your tank that
fish just love to spawn on.

Went to B&Q last weekend and got some slate. I'm planning to build a raised terrace with it, and will plant it at the back of the tank. The plants seem to be coming along fairly well. Here's a picture I couldn't resit posting because of the pleco right at the front of the glass.
