Looks great, can't wait to see it in a couple months. What is the floating plant, I really like it.

Lighting is Aqueon Triple tube fixture with two 32 watt 6500K T8 bulbs and one 8000K 32 watt bulb.
Fixture came with three 8000K bulbs but I chose to replace two of them with the 6500 K bulbs that have better color spectrum for plants.
Tried three of the 6500 K bulbs but tank appeared to yellow to me.
Thank you for your comment on my tank, it is a work in progress. Mostly crypt's so it will be some time before the tank fills in.

Thank you Kymmie, Tank was set up in July and has seen a few changes with respect to plant's. Only original plan't left are the Leopard vals along the back.
Mostly Crypt's now ,Wendtii Bronze,Crypt Pontederiifolia,Crypt Parva,Anubias,Aponogeton crispus,Water Sprite, and Broadleaf sagittaria.

Thank you, the floating plant is artificial bamboo Grass. The tanks surface was getting covered with Pennywort and so I removed it and fish became skittish.I placed the artificial grass on the surface temporarily until I can figure a way to keep the Pennywort in one area.It grow's so fast that I have taken bunches to local fish store,along with a lot of leopard vals as well. Pennywort was blocking more light than I would like but fish loved it.

My fish LOVE the pennywort and my plan is to attach a suction cup to the side of the tank and use some fishing line to wrap around the end of a bunch of pennywort gathered together. It'll keep it in place (I hope) and make for pruning it easily. What do you think?? I did it with some anachris and it worked well. Like you, I can't have a mass of floating plants blocking out light that the other plants need.
