*giggle* SOOOO CUTE! Now if ONLY we could get him to hold the thermometer, or some tubing. . . ;)...
Aaaahhh! Mr. Tinyfish!!! If only those Gobies had a job (like holding tubing as mentioned above). That'd teach them some responsibility and keep 'em outta trouble. ;) Please keep us posted on those poor little fins :/
Yes I really should put them to work shouldn't I?
I'm debating their fate still, I do like them. I was looking and a Figure 8 Puffer can live in a 10 gallon, and then I could change them to brackish which they'd all appreciate.
But that is such a big job. :( Posted via Mobile Device
It IS, but you'll learn A LOT and it'll be fun! I'm looking forward to the day when I'll have a real brackish tank - though that will be quite some time away :)
It would be a challenge changing them over to brackish. I'll think about it.. I did sell a satellite dish for $40 so I do have some extra fish money around. Posted via Mobile Device
You got me too excited about this.... :p
Other sites are saying 10 gallons isn't enough for a Figure 8 Puffer.. but who knows. :s
Another option is Celebes rainbowfish..... I do love rainbowfish. :)
And also, the very beautiful 3" knight goby. But knowing my luck gobies can't be kept together. ;)
I don't know. . . but. . . HERE is your sage-like wisdom for today:
Start the 10, with the gobies that you have, and then just S T O P and wait until you're really super comfortable with the new system before you even THINK about adding anything to it.
You know this stuff, I know. . . it's so hard NOT to get excited! I hope you go through with this, then you can teach ME when I'm ready! ;)
But it's sooo much easier to just get a 15 gallon and do it all at once.. Most of these brackish fish are kept in freshwater and you gotta transition em over to brackish yourself. O__O
What if I get a 10 gallon, divide it between Reuben and Gilbert, then take their 15 gallon and use that? I just won't get a Dwarf Puffer... Hmmm. So much to think about.
