The old friends and the new friends

My wife's beautiful and unique favored fish died yesterday. He was a very unique Siamese Fighting Fish named Sushi. Here is a picture taken the day before Sushi left us for the unknown.



He apparently died from old age. The only I noticed was that his appetite diminished.

Now for the NEW. My daughter picked this fellow out and his name is Patrick after the Patrick on sponge bob the cartoon.




Then I traded in the adopted Pleco Zappa and Mick the pink kissing fish and picked 4 small but efficient schwartzi corydorias. These only grow to 2 inches roughly where as the pleco would become hugh as well as the kisser.

Sorry for Sushi. My old betta lived for 3.5 years before he died of old age. Sushi was gorgeous.

Your new betta, Patrick, is very pretty as well.

I like the cory picture. It looks really cool with the black background and the Tiger Barb in it. Mysterious. :)

All beautiful fish. I love the coloring on both Bettas. The Schwartzi hit a soft spot with me. I love mine. I notice that mine like to swim around mid water much more whereas my false juliis tend to stay towards the bottom more.
