Noob here, meet my fish

I'm actually relatively new to fishkeeping. The 10g has been up for about 9-10 months, and the 26g for about 7. I decided to go with naturally planted to create a comfortable environment and help with water quality. Unfortunately I have lost a few fish along the way and have learned a lot the hard way (overstocked the 10gal at one point )

The first is a recent pic of my 10 right before my betta got dropsy (which I am currently treating). Plants grow extremely well in this tank despite having only a single T8 bulb.

The second is my 26 Euro/quarantine set up as of last night. I hate how dim and drowsy the LED bulbs make the 26 look in comparison. I'm currently using a dual T5NO fixture but not sure I'm happy with it. It used to be brighter, and the short plants seem to have a hard time growing (or even staying alive when it comes to dwarf grass). I'm definitely open to suggestions on what I can do to improve the aesthetics! And look forward to learning more than my brain can probably handle on here.
