Now some of you asked so here's the pic's from the new guys that came in the mail today.

They all super nicely acclimated over some almost 5hrs; everybody regained coloration VERY quickly to my surprise and the Killi LOOVVVEEE the Java Moss back wall playing in-out of that all night so far :-D

Here ya'll go - I told you there're very small so hope you got your glasses ready and find the fish & shrimp on the pic's below:-D

I'm already i LOVE here...

Yea they'll still grow a little bit and once they're bigger they can move to the tank with the Betta but now I'd be scared they'd be dinner.

Ghost Shrimp or Red Cherry's are not much different in size, maybe 1-2 mm if that. I love RCS but they really look at their best with proper foods only and on dark substrate (I pref sand as you know already).

ADF have a whollleee nother personality and they make funky sounds at night that can indeed catch one off guard when you first add a gang to your house and go "Honey do you hear THAT?" LOL

I had ADF when I was little. You can actually hear them croaking sometimes. I remember that. I have never seen RCS in any LFS in my area so I think it's either ghost shrimp or the ADF. I have a feeling my betta helped wipe out of first ghost shrimp population. I'd see him chase them every once in a while. I do love ADF's though. How many for a 5g with a betta and 1 nerite snail?

That would really be a tough all Lisa; Ideally you'd wanna house them in groups starting at 5-6 but being a 5g plus everybody else I think that may be a lil too much but I'd get at least 3-4 then.

 Lodry I got a pregnant RCS... let's pray the shipping/ new home ain't too much on her and she'll be able to carry out the eggs and not drop them.
