Nice tank!! I love the orange plants with the sand and the rocks. Are those rocks part of the background or in the tank? Either way it looks great! What do you have in there for fish?

Its part of the background. I have some silver tipped tetras in there and a some male guppies, also a baby Chinese Algae Eater, he's only in there for the time being when hes a bit older hes going into a bigger tank with bigger fish who can stand up 2 him if he gets agressive :)

What kind of substrate is that? Looks too small for gravel but too big for sand.

you don't see orange aquarium plants too often, it reminds me of fall.

Its called pettex roman gravel in pink rose its between a gravel and a sand :)

I think I've seen something like it used in a child's sand box. Small enough to scoop and play with but without the sticking of sand. I'd love to try and use it in my tanks.

I love that substrate! Where did you find it?? It looks much better than the white play sand I used in my tank.

try googling pettex website. I bought mine from pets at home in the UK but i think in the states they call that pet smart still.

I am going to guess pool filter substrate. makes good aquarium substrate!
