Here is the tank that I got before this one. There is a fish inside the tank and he is still alive.

That was the tank before I got it there was no filter and they stopped adding water. I cleaned it up and filled the water up and put a new filter on it. The fish has real bad fin rot and I haven't seen any real iimprovement but he seems to be fine.

Haha, I didn't figure that was the way you kept it ;)
I have found Jungle Fungus Clear to be very effective in treating fin rot in bettas. I don't know how well it would work on your fish though. It's good that you rescued him!

I sold it on craigslist. I am going to look at a 72 gallon bowfront for $75. It has a corner overflow thinking about trying a marine aquarium.

If you think you might go marine, be sure to ask about Copper. If the aquarium has ever been treated with a copper based medication, then you don't want it.

It was setup as marine before taking down. But I will ask but I don't think it was their tank.
