My new Angelfish

I had 2 yo yo loaches. I needed to get rid of one as they were pigs and hogged the food in my feeder ring. I still have not heard from redchigh. Maybe tomorrow. I need to log off the computer also. I have been on the computer for sometime.

I decided to get 1 more anglefish today. I have such a big tank and 1 anglefish would be lonely so I got it a buddy. They are getting along just fine. Here is a new picture of the newer one I got on the right. Looks to be a black & white marbled.

Very nice! I like koi and marbled Angels as well. They are my favorites. Keep an eye on his tail, as it looks a bit torn. With clean water and a healthy environment it'll heal itself in no time Good luck with your new fish!

It was in a tank with blue and yellow gouarmi's that were picking on all the angels. I think these 2 will get along as they follow each other and stay close and I've seen no problems so far. I do my 25% water changes on Sunday . It would be nice if they were a pair but I'm just glad that they get along.

I was wondering if your free swimming angel babies if moved to their own tank would survive with out any other fish to eat them. It would be nice to raise a few babies but not over 100.

Yes, the free-swimming fry would survive. Of course not all, but some. It's survival of the fittest. They only need their parents for protection, not food. Fry take a lot of time though. They need water changes every day or every other day and need to be fed 3-5 times per day.
