Do I have to worry about it shading out some of my moderate light plants and killing them? I know it grows so fast.

You can always scoop it out and toss it or trade it if it gets to thick thats what I do.

Thanks Amanda, I think Im gonna give pennywort a try!

Heres my update for the week. Everything is settling as I just added some dwarf Sag as well as a dwarf lily..

Im hoping the back right will fill with the val's I planted back there. Some of them are short so it looks empty right now.

I also added some polygonum sp. kawagoeanum... I cant wait for it to grow out its gonna be so pretty!

I replaced my microsword with the dwarf sag. The microsword was just not growing whatsoever. And It was turning brown and just not doing what I wanted it to.

Heres a question though, Will the penny wort grow okay partly shaded? Like if I put it next to my Anacharis in the back? or coming up from under my Wisteria. Any thoughts on where to put it? I pretty much cant touch the section where the vals are otherwise they uproot and float to the top. Its so frustrating. I think I need to get some plant anchors.. >.<

i really love your aquarium! especially the driftwood. i cannot wait to see how it looks farther down the road. :)

btw- what size tank is it?

Very nice, it's really neat to see the tank design evolve as you added plants. Always gives me new ideas for my own tank.

I would just let it float at the top pennywort looks good floating.
