Good evening everyone,

I am new here, just posted into the welcome forum to introduce myself.

Just recently got back into the hobby after being away from it for a very long time and I thought I would join a great forum like this one. Been lurking for a bit.

I recently cycled this 46 gallon and have many details on it in the commentary of the video itself. Please feel free to post both positive and constructive critique on the setup here in this thread and if you feel inclined on youtube itself.

Big drawback to this setup right off the bat is no live plants. :( Just didn't want to take the chance just getting back into the hobby. Didn't want to discourage myself. So, I did what I could with some natural wood and rocks.

Looks great! LOVE the rocks! I recently started on live plants for the first time and it was MUCH easier than I anticipated. Your tank looks wonderful anyway.

Your tank is looking good. I know you don't want to discourage yourself but there are low light, low care plants out there that would look great as a stand alone where those plastic plants are right now.

I would suggest doing something like an Anubias or Water Sprite. Both are very hardy and would look great in place of those plastic plants.

My current stock is 2 X Angels, 10 X Buenos Aries Tertas, 1 X Red Fire Dwarf Gourami and 1 X RTBS.

Everyone is getting a long very well.
