Yep! I sold off most of the others I had, since I wasn't completely pleased with them, and had room for some of Kenny/Forrest's stunning fish. You should definitely check out the Goldens! I may nab a couple more discus next month depending on what he gets in. Who knows, maybe you'll get a male for Snowflake.
It IS really interesting to see what everyone else prefers. I was reading elsewhere how everyone loved the wilds and how much better they were and thought it was funny because I had just sold some in favor of the domestics. I've been after a checkerboard for a while, but I didn't realize that I'd only gotten light strains until I saw them together. Oh well... there's an excuse to order again. I need some darker ones!

Edit: Argg I can't decide on an avatar! I think the picture of the Golden looks best, actually. The others aren't clear enough. *fiddles*

Ah, there's the beauty in your avatar. So how many discus are currently in the tank since you sold some? I'm am going to look into Kenny's fish, they are always high quality from everything I've seen. I easily have room for three more. Did you QT these fish? I'd imagine Kenny treats them before they go out the door. What size did you receive? That's always a concern for me as mine are already five inchers. Not sure how 3 inchers would do with them? Also, I have nowhere to QT three new fish, of that size. Decisions, decisions...I would love for Snowflake to aquire a mate. Both males in my tank have already picked their females, the other females are out of luck, for now.

In the 80 gallon there are 6; the four from Kenny and two smaller ones. Of the smaller two I like the snakeskin, not sure on the turq yet as he's not fully colored up yet. I also have three young ones in the 40 for now, all of which will probably be sold. The Blue Diamond is about 3.5" now and looking really nice but he's just a jerk and ruins the harmony of any tank.

I didn't QT because I asked Kenny about his procedures and found them above and beyond satisfactory. They are quarantined and medicated by Forrest before they leave and then quarantined and medicated again by Kenny after they arrive. I thought it would be over the top for me to do it again. The checkerboard and butterfly/scorpion cross were listed as 3.5-4", the Golden as 4-4.5", and the Snow White as 4.5-5". The first three are all about the same size; between 4" and 4.5" I'd say. The Snow White is probably more towards the 5.5" range. I was going to pick each one up and measure them while acclimating but I didn't want to stress them too much. I wouldn't worry about size though. My other two are tiny in comparison but hang with them just fine and aren't picked on at all. In that last group shot you can see the snakeskin in comparison to the WB/WS.

I say go for it! His packaging is amazing too... I took pictures of it if you want to see for yourself. Snowflake needs a mate, after all. Speaking of which, I'm by no means certain but I think I've got three males and three females at the moment. Too bad it won't stay that way!

Gorgeous fish! I have thought about getting Discus but I fear they are a bit too putsy for me. Don't you have to do like 75% water changes daily or something like that? I think that Yellow is absolutely stunning.

Young discus less than 4 inches in diameter are more sensitive and high maintenance than adults. You'll need to maintain very clean water or risk stunting them.
