This tank's changed quite a bit since setting up in May.

The floating plants are getting pretty overgrown (water sprite and brazilian pennywort). The cherry barbs seem to appreciate it. Cory cats seem much more lazy now than in the first months - they generally just chill out being lazy under one of the logs for most of the day and come out to forage a couple hours before feeding time. Hygrophila polysperma grows like a menace, I gotta pull out a few plant tops 1-2 times a week. Pygmy chain sword is growing kind of weakly, some leaves covered with blackish algae (but not hairy). It isn't dying, but isn't particularly impressive either. Java fern is growing great, and the latest addition Anubias nana seems fine and is putting out new leaves gradually.

My pygmy swords took quite a while to grow in but they're going crazy now. It's probably due to the amount of light available at the bottom of the tank.
