Ooh, he is SO pretty!! I want a halfmoon but have no place to get one. I tried to order one from an aquatics store last summer. The guy I talked to said he would order them (I wanted a ct female too) but 2 weeks went by and I never got a phone call from th store so I called them. The guy I talked to was like " oh, we can't order bettas individually. We would have to order lots of them at a time and we can't have them just sitting around." I thought, you mean no one would buy them? Its a fish store for crying out loud! So I never got one. Oh, well, maybe some day...

i went to petco and got my money back cos seriosuly, i only had him for four days. he randomly like exploded with fuzzy white death.
why do they call it a half-moon? He's very beautiful. I have a crowntail and he looks similar to a half-moon, but with more "plumage." Mine is Little Blue. He's absolutely gorgeous! I'm kinda new to fish keeping. Had a couple different tanks years ago. I really like this forum thing.
