I can get my Discus to spawn but I am still working on the RCS. Sounds backwards to me.

Your fish are beautiful! For your shrimp maybe you need some of the almond leaves like Aunt Kymmie is sending me she said her shrimp family exploded when she put these in her tank.

Well It wasn't that my RCS weren't getting pregnant The issue holding onto their eggs. I thought maybe because they like to always hang out on my prefilter sponge that it was pulling the eggs off of them. So I moved them to a 10 gallon with a smaller filter..I have some pregnant ones and I am keeping my fingers crossed.

yeah 1st spawn. There are black neons and albino bristlenose plecos....and lot so fpond snails of course..lol

It's so cool to watch the eggs hatch. The babies are little black specs..

I love watching how the parents try to keep the little wrigglers together before the wrigglers start free swimming. One will "fall" off and a parent will suck him up and spit him back out to be with the others. Are you getting a brine shrimp hatchery & a fry tank set up or are you letting nature take its course??

I will have to wait and see..now all the eggs are gone off the wall and there is no sign of the little guys. I think we had a lower hatch rate because we were switching the tank to tap water instead of RO. My only concern was the snails..they probably ate the eggs. I'll let you know how many of the little swimmers I see.How many do you hatch on average Kym?
