Well, then it sounds like the old tank is starting out fresh, right ? You could decorate it with plenty of plants and do the water changes, and add fish gradually in that situation also. Wish I had an empty tank to play with.

i don't have the old tank set up. it's empty atm. i am going to one day but not yet. i took everyone out of the old tank to put it into the new.

Have you done a water test? You're probably fine. I would assume the tank is fully cycled. Just keep running that established filter on there.

no was waiting for the water to settle then got lazy. i am going to do it in a little while

update on the tank. so far no deaths from the move. hoping that everything stays nice and settled. i have also put the background on the tank. i am thinking about making a background with dora pictures. and putting a castle into the tank in a couple weeks.

Cute idea! Glad there were no deaths.

I want some sort of plain background on the 35 and the 55. The RTS and the Rainbowfish get lost in the backgrounds that are on there now.

Don't know how well the rainbows will show against black.

Black is no good for the 35 because we'll never see the Red Tailed Shark. Don't know what would be best to show him.

go with a blue color. would show him fairly well. how big is that rts?

i would do blue for the rts. and the rainbow fish...i would think a dark blue would be best. that way you don't pic a color that will blend in with them.

I wasn't even thinking. I have Blue Rainbows, and Boesmani's which are half blue. So those won't show against blue. I also have reds.
