Yes the rubber noses and ottos will eat all the following, my rubber noses will also eat blood worms when I feed them to the other fish, shirmp pellets, and also any flake food that makes it down to them that the others don't eat first or the corys. For the rubber-nose plecos you also need to make sure that you have driftwood in the tank because they will rasp (I believe that is the term) off of the driftwood.

No experience myself but I've heard Ottos usually need algae as they adjust to a new tank, and can do fine without it later on.

For Ottos they only eat certain kinds of algae, that algae can be provided by the natural tank and also algae discs if you don't have enough. It is true the first few days or week they will only accept real algae but usually after a while they will accept softened algae discs

Are you planning on putting these in the 20 gallon your daughter has? If so the rubbernose plecos and angels will out grow the tank.

No. I put the pelcos and angels in my 90 gal tank. All are doing well so far.

Tank update with photo's
My tank is starting to look like a jungle. The horn wart (which I want to call Hogwart for some reason) has gone crazy. It's probably because it was place right next to the CO2 diffuser. I moved the diffuser to the middle of the tank today, the CO2 indicator on the opposite side of the tank after 3 weeks still had a poor reading. Hope this helps. Another problem I have is my CO2 tank (20 oz) run out after about 1 1/2 weeks. I was told they would last longer, about 2 - 3 months. Does anyone have any insight? It's been 5 - 6 days with no fish casualties, hope this is a good sign. Everyone right now seems healthy and happy

Its looking very good. Sorry I can't help with your CO2 issue I don't use it on my tanks.
