Bettas I did it again....

Ok lets see if I can make this story short. LOL It started yesterday when I went by the LFS just to see what they had and I was a bit upset to see they had 3 female bettas in with some much larger fish that were nipping the bettas fins they hardley had any tail/fins left. I mentioned it to the guy and he was like oh yeah I have been meaning to move them to another tank. This really suprised me because this is normally a good LFS. So today I decided to take in a large sandwich bag full of extra Duckweed to see what I could get for it but really it was to see if they had moved the girls which they had not. So anyways he traded me the Duckweed for the 3 girls and a dwarf lilly plant then I went by Walmart and got two more girls in really dirty water to make it five girls. I had been trying to down size and had even taken one of my 10 gallons down but now it is back up with gravel from another tank as well as extra filter that was in another tank and plants from other tanks. It truly is hopeless to try to fight this addiction so I surrender. So now onto the pictures!

I would of liked to but prefer that he knows what an idiot I think he is by the look I gave him. He was not one of the owners he is the saltwater specialist they have that works there. He knows alot about salt water but is pretty clueless when it comes to the freshwater stuff.

All three of them are in bad shape as far as fins go but they seem healthy they just had a meal of frozen blood worms which they loved. I put some salt in their water which may help them heal I may post on the betta side to see if they have any other ideas as to what I can do for them.

I think just keeping the water clean and warm is the best thing for them. They're very pretty!!

Thank you Drama. The one that is white with red fins has a neat red spot right in the middle of her head. Now I just have to name them as all my bettas have always had names. LOL
