| | Wisteria will such up so much of the nutrients that other plants will suffer and suffer quickly from low itrates and even low phosphates if you don;t dose regularly. Add high light and/or CO2 and it is even faster. To give you an idea, I dose 30ppm of NO3 in my tanks every week and when I test before the water change my levels are never about 15ppm.
Give the smaller one time to get going and make sure it has plenty of nutrients to eat and grow. Once it gets going it will suck them up very fast.
I try to keep mine small because when I let them get too big I see a lack of growth from my crypts and most of my other plants.
