wow great tank defiantly better than a Goldfish bowl! do they really need a tank that elaborate i do not no much about fresh water?

In general I would have to say no. When planning this tank I never viewed it as elaborate, just allways liked the tanks I saw in pictures and in doctors offices etc, and thought that was the goal, nice looking tank, and healthy for its occupants. And with this one in particular I knew the main occupant would be female bettas, to have the best chance of them being happy together meant I needed space and allot of territories, and resting and hiding places. So thats what I tried to achieve. Only time and careful observation will tell if this has been sucessful.

There are also fancy guppies and long finned leopard and zebra danios in this tank. They will be moved to another tank if they cause any problems to the bettas, or if the bettas don't like any of them. So far all is well.
