Well Queen owns the right side of the tank and the half log. I've seen both Senegals trade off using the log and the cave. They also will hang out in some of the plants, on top the drift wood or just laze about in the front of the tank when there isn't much moving around the tank.

Well I have some bad news. Some time yesterday evening Little Brave vanished. Today another Zebra Danio has vanished too and Queen was later than usual to lunch. So seems safe to say Queen has begun to make a move to eat actual fish (something my Senegals refuse to do). I start to worry how well my Yoyo Loach will do when Queen is full grown even in something as big as a 120 gallon (if I ever got it).

That's the bad news. The good news is that I've been able to do a good bit of pruning on my plants which are already responding favorably to the new light. The plants in my five gallon are also looking very lovely. Expect pictures and video of both.

Also I'm still waiting on word from a friend who really wants my 75 gallon and has connections to a friend who has a "Big tank" sitting in his backyard not being used. If that big tank turns out to be 100 gallons plus then it'll be mine and we'll do a swap. I've grudgingly got family permission (at least from one) to upgrade so now I've got to bribe the other one to be willing to move a clock. If I am able to upgrade I will start to make plans into getting a used Canister filter.

Awwwwww! Brave! This is so sad! I wonder if having all of the new fish in there made her realize that they'd make a great dinner. I guess it's good that she's feeling comfortable enough to hunt, though. . .

Alright updates:

First of all the connection was a bust. Turns out it was a 75 gallon tank. That's cool though. My friend will have a nice tank for when he gets into salt water again.

I've gone through weeded out a lot of dead/decaying matter. I've removed the plastic plants. I've moved some things up a little for more room in the back. I've also added a line of Microsword that I found at Pet-Smart. I cut it into four sections and tied each section to a rock. Then I buried the rock in the sand.

All of the plants in there are taking off. I will be dosing the tanks now with Flourish now that I have it. Video comes in next post once uploaded.

I already told you, but it's worth saying again - I love it! Good luck keeping those swords put with your silly loaches intent on destruction! I can't wait to see how everything grows in for you, your Bichir are going to love having a well-planted tank :) And yes - that is an alarmingly adorable picture of those two! I love them!

BTW, what is up with the little clownfish??! Silly!

The clownfish is a clip that holds onto things. I've got it holding down some cucumber I put down. The Snails adore cucumber so it keeps them fed.

Very nice, Fox! That betta is just gorgeous!!! The plants in his tank are really taking off - I'm sure he loves them. . .
And loaches, oh my! I really just ADORE loaches! All loaches, any loaches - they're just so silly and sweet! Your little guys look like they're having a fantastic time in there :) Awww!
