55G planted

Got my 55 planted. I got a ton of plants from my LFS for free. Small plants she was cleaning out and some plants that she had trimmed, she put them all in a bag and gave them to me instead of just throwing them away. Got the drift wood from redchigh.

Still not sure what Im going to put in it, was thinking a giant spotted puffer but i would have to go brakish and that would kill my plants. I love the look of my tank to much to kill off the plants. So now Im thinking some south american puffers and who knows what

Oh and the color difference in the corners is due to lack of light, nothing wrong with the tank or algea or anything like that

Nice score on the free plants! I'm sure you already know this but the plants in the pots need to be removed from the pots, in order for them to do well. If left in the pots they will get root-bound and not do as well.
Are you going to add a background to the tank? It would look really nice with a dark background.

PS. I wonder how long it's going to take for that dirftwood to sink??

I asked that same question before and got mixed reviews but I will cut them out tonight and replant them. Not sure what background i want cuase im not sure what fish. I dont want a dark background if i end up with dark colored fish so i need to figure out fish first lol.

Not sure about the drift wood, though i kinda like it where it is

I'm surprized you got mixed reviews on whether or not to remove plants from pots.
Sheesh, she took the camera too?? Well, guess what? You now have your very own 55!!
