This member is unfortunately no longer participating here. He did not like the rule against linking to other forums. The rationale was explained to him for all to see in a public post, http://www.fishforum.com/viewtopic.php?p=32283#32283. It was also discussed with him via private messaging. Despite our considerable efforts to help him understand why the rule was in effect, he went on to make an inflammatory post which did not address any of the reasons offered for the rule, but only criticized the forum. When this post was removed, he chose to end his participation here by deleting 164 of his posts and disrupting 71 topics.
Banning anyone is a last resort here, but this member made it very clear that he was no longer interested in contributing to this community by doing just the opposite.
Great care was taken to ensure that this was handled appropriately. Please direct any and all inquiries or comments on this matter to me via private message.
