20 gallon 11 week cycle (complete)

well my 20 gallon finished its cycle 3 days ago it took about 11 weeks anyway i just added to orange oscars they are about 3inchs im gonna keep them in there for about 6 months then add them to my 180 gallon. heres some pics..

Ya im gonna keep them in the 20 for about 6months no longer then put them in 180 ;)

sorry to sound like a newbie but why so long to cycle the tank and why so long to keep him in the smaller tank?

sometimes it takes longer to complete a full cycle & sometimes shorter..
im keeping them in there until i feel there ok to go in with my 3 big oscars 10 & 11inch...
