My parents had a fish tank when i was little but took it down when i was 9 because we moved. Unfortunately, despite my efforts to get them to set it back up, it sat in a shed for 6 years. Then one day my sister came home for christmas break with a little 1 gallon tank and a
Goldfish named Amideus. I ended up taking care of the
Goldfish during her break and she ended up leaving without it. From there the obsession began. Only later did i realized that for 3 years straight when i was young i made my parents take me to the baltimore aquarium for my birthday. So as it turns out, i have been obsessed with fish my entire life without even knowing it.
It's hard to say what my favorite fish is because there are so many and most have their own unique characteristics but out of the fish i own it is definitely my mudskippers.
On a side note Amideus died within the year because i got a 3 gallon tank for him and bought a new
Goldfish. The pet store was kind enough to give me a fish covered in ick so that i could learn what it is.
