You don't think water out of the tub faucet wouldn't be so different than water from the sink faucet? The 75 gal gets water from the tub and the 5.5 get water from the sink. It's easier to use the bucket in the tub for the 75 gal. | Particulate matter is suspended "stuff" that floats in water. It can be any number of things from fine soil/sand, bits of vegetation, waste, sediment, etc. If it is coming in the source water (out of the tap), it should be harmless. The filter should remove it.
Do you have a filter of some sort on the sink faucet that might be filtering this out?
