White Flakes all over my 125G Tank?

Hi, I was trying to find out info on white flakes all over my tank. I have 125g fresh water tank with 2 convicts, 2 blood parrots, and 3 jewel cichilds in it. Its been up for about two months completely cycled for two weeks now, and there's white like flakes on my heater and suction cups around my tank that are shidding off and sinking to a couple dead spots in the tank. I cant find any info on it and i was wondering what it is and if it poses any threat to my fish? Its not ick and its not coming from the fish.

It is most likely calcium deposits, often caused by evaporating water. It can be partially controlled by regular tank maintenance and doesn't pose any threat to the fish. You can remove it my using a razor blade or a scrub pad. If the tank is empty or if you remove items to clean, a 1:2 solution of vinegar water will aid it cleaning. The longer it remains, the harder it is to clean off.

Thanks, but its not calcium deposits. I just did a big maintenance on my Eheim 160G 2075 and all these soft whit flakes were built up in the tubes from and to the filter. They all came flying out. It must be some kind of algae/fungus from cycling the tank, its only been up almost two moths. Still wondering what it is though?
