What is a suitable use for a 1g aquarium?

Only life suitable for one gallon in my view is ..flowers.

Ha! Maybe I'll turn it into a water dish for my cat... if I turn the bubbles on maybe it'll act as a decoy and keep him off my 67G tank. :)

That is actually a great idea. Animals prefer to drink from moving water rather than standing water.

And it will keep the water from going stale longer. Bacteria don't like moving water as much. Probably why animals prefer it moving. :)

I have 2 fully aquatic fiddler crabs and my guilt for keeping them submerged has grown to its capacity. Instead of trying to cycle this 1 gallon as a fry tank (i have a nice size breeder net anyway) would this 1 gallon be a suitable temporary home to my male and female crabs? I have climbing rock and everything, just need some opinions.

Your post is kinda confusing there. I'm assuming you mean semi-aquatic and not fully aquatic. Fully aquatic means they don't need to come out of the water, though only very few crabs are fully aquatic. IMO your crabs will not do well in a 1 gallon tank even temporarily, especially because I'm pretty sure crabs are territorial and things may go badly if they are force to stay within close proximity to each other. But don't quote me on any of the crab stuff lol.

I don't undersatnd what's so confusing.. I have two fully-aquatic crabs I was sold as fully-aquatic, finding out later that they're semi-aquatic, therefore contributing to my guilt and transferring them to this newly semi-aquatic home. The bottom is kind of cramped but it widens at the top (see previous pictures in this thread)..in the time i was waiting for a response i went ahead and set it up, and right away noticing the male grabbing ahold of the female, so she may not last very long, but at any cost it will still be pretty neat to have him in this temporary set-up, where they can at least breathe, until i can afford a 10 gallon. I know what I meant and meant what I said @_@
