I don't think I coould go through the stress of a new aquarium again for a while I have 2 now and I think I will there started with the 30 gallon then got the 120 gallon I wil have to stop there | Oh man! So, we left over night to new orleans ( to the aquarium no less) and when we came back i expect to find all the platys dead. Lo and behold we only lost one more Platy so still have 5 that seem to be doin quite well. Upon examing the circumstances, it seems the pregnant females were the ones who seemed to make an early demise.
Also when i came home i tried to feed the remaining fish ( 5 platys, 10 black neon tetras and 5 angels) some flake food and freeze dried bloodworms. Ohhhhhhh they were completely snubbing it!!!!! They wanted the frozen food. It was crazy. They destroyed it when i gave it to them. Crazy, spoiled fish lol
