I finally went out and got a liquid test kit, but would like a second (or 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc) opinion on my water parameters for my tank and species if anybody can help.
My tank is 20 gallon:
3 Dalmation Molly, 3 Lyretail Cremecicle Molly, 3 Red Danio, 1
Rainbow Shark, 1 Striped Rachel Catfish, 2 Ghost Shrimp, and 12 Lyretail Cremecicle Molly Fry.
My parameters are:
NH - 0 mg/l
NO - 0 mg/l
PH - 8.0 (hard to tell for sure since the colors are so similar)
GH - 8 dH
KH - 5 dH
My main concern is the PH, but apparently my fish are used to it since it consistently reads the same color. Does all of that make sense? And does this seem right for the fish I have? The kit only only has a generic "ideal" reading for freshwater fish so I hate assuming. Especially with my fry in there. Any opinions would be appreciated....
