Water bacteria from my aquarium and cystic fibrosis?

OK i've read that the bacteria from my aquarium may bother my wife due to her haveing the lung diseases cystic fibrosis. So does anybody out there now if this is true? I've already made her get rid of a chinchilla and a parrot, but I never though my aquarium would hurt her?? Or should I just have her stay away from the tank when I do tank mantaince like water changes, When the water is tured up??? Help Please!! I have'nt had a chance to ask docters yet!
