Upgrading My Tank Advice Please

I currently have a 60 litre tetra aqua-art tank which has in it:-

2 corydoras
1 neon
2 otocinclus
2 cherry barbs
2 Harlequin Rasbora
1 golden danio
1 angelfish (wont stop growing) hence the need to upgrade

I was planning on going for a Fluval 125 or Rio 125 as this type of tank would fit nicely in my lounge.

Any advice would be appreciated if you think this would be suitable for the above fish including my lovely angel.

Welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping forum.

All of the fish you have are shoaling fish that should be in larger groups. However, I would not fuss over the angel at this stage, as I assume it has been alone for a while and adding more can be disastrous, plus you need at least a 4-foot tank for a group of 5. So we'll leave the angel alone.

Otos should be in a group, but if the two are doing fine, OK.

The other fish though must have company. Corydoras are very social fish, and without more of their own they are under stress. Minimum 3 of one species, but 5 is better. You could have 6, with two species and 3 of each species if you like.

Neon Tetra, Cherry Barb, Harlequin Rasbora and Golden Danio (assuming this is the gold colour form of the Zebra Danio) are best in groups of minimum 6. If you increase all these fish, you will need much more room than a 125 litre (33 gallon) tank.

If I was you I would look for a 55 gallon tank on craigslist mine was 75 dollars and it came with everything but stand and I would add 3 cory cats, 5 neons, 4 cherry barbs, 4 rasbora, 4 golden danios and I would keep the angelfish. Also if you ended up getting a 55 gallon I would probably add a Bristlenose Pleco as well.
