How long will thawed bloodworms remain good if refridgerated? I have a pack of frozen bloodworms (the kind with the little cubes) and a whole cube is way more than I need. So I'm wondering if I can keep a thawed cube's worth in the fridge. How long will it last before needing to be thrown out?
why not cut the frozen block in half? then refreeze half it, I do have to admit 1 half of it will probably go frying across the room but mission accomplished, no clue on refrigeration though.
The last time I tried to cut one in half, I almost cut myself, so I've been pretty hesitant to do that again. Hmm, maybe I could just get a pack of bloodworms that comes in a single block and just crush it into small pieces while its still in the bag with a hammer. Then I could just take a pinch and thaw that out. Think that would work?
That should work, maybe try to cut the frozen block with a hot knife? Get really hot tap water flowing, let it warm the knife then try to cut it, also use a big knife so its more stable, small ones its hard to put pressure on the blade directly down like you need.
