tank identification

Hello. I am actively looking to upsize my tank. I have been looking for 125-200 gallon tanks. I recently stumbled across someone selling a '180 gallon tank'. He/she said the dimensions were 72x21x18. Now if i figure this right, that should be smaller than a 180 gallon tank, would it not? And If i have this right would even be less than a 150 gallon tank. So what size tank is this?

It's 118 gallons to be more precise. 72x24x24 is 180g.

That's about what i thought the dimensions of a 180 were supposed to be. Do they make a 118 gallon tank? That's the first i've heard of it. Maybe it is a 120 that isn't completely 120?

Probably what they call a 125 gallon. Sometimes the manufacturer cheats a little on the actual gallons. Here's a list of standard aquarium sizes from Aqueon: Aqueon Products Standard Aquariums

The standard 120g would be 48x24x24.

According to the link (thanks a lot jeaninel) the tank is probably supposed to be a 125. A 125 shows to be 72x18x22. That leaves the tank in question lacking one inch in height.
