For the benefit of those that interpreted my remarks as 'harsh', all I said was it's a theme tank, not a biotope and I did't like it. I simply prefer a natural LOOKING aquascape.
In a sense, an aquarium is a small glass pond and I think we can create a true sustainable biotope if we try...without the ravages of nature.
If there are those that prefer theme tanks with unnatural ornaments (items not found in nature) in their tank, that's their business as long as they otherwise manage the tank, fish care and companion inhabitants so they are not being cruel and inhuman.
