Just tonight I noticed a strange growth in my 2g planted
Platy tank. (He's a rescue and is being rehomed)
I truly have no idea what it is and cant get a photo for the life of me.
This stuff is growing on the tank's walls and is super small, clearish white, and if you realllyy look at it, or at least the bigger stuff, it looks similar to a fluff from a dandelion.
Theyre anchored to the glass and the ends move about. Theyre in higher concentration at the bottom of the tank than at the top.
Im sort of freaked out, as this literally happened in a matter of hours.
The tank is heated,. filtered and planted.
Any help? :c Currently gonna keep the light off for a while and hope that helps. I'll do a water change and a scrub/siphon tomorrow when Im out of class.
