It sounds like a very good start. More plants though, the more the better for these fish. Consider floating plants, they don't impact on the substrate aquascape, but floating plants perform even more filtration and they provide shade which these fish love. In dimmer light forest fish will be brighter coloured and out and about more.

sounds good, Byron I currently have 7 Neon Tetra and 3 albino cory catfish in my 10g does this sound okay I need your opinion I'm trying to manage my water quality as to not harm my fish I've added a bacterial supplement to help the bacteria kick in to handle ammonia.Oh and what kind of floating plant do you suggest I buy?

I consider that tank full, fish-ways.

As for floating plants, I see from your subsequent post you found Water Sprite, it is ideal. Fish stores that have plants might have it from time to time, or some online plant retailers. Other plants that work are some of the stem plants, Brazilian Pennywort is one of my favourites to use floating. Wisteria works similarly, or Cabomba, though both of these are a bit fussier light-wise.
