| | Sponge v.s. Sump......
ok so as many know i rack my head full of ideas and then get thinking a little to much LOL... so here i am getting ready to move and in the new place i want to set up a stand with multiple tanks.. the decision has been made to go with Betta's and i am gong to house 2-3 in divided 10 gal tanks... about 4-8 tanks depending on space and availability at the time (fish room wont be ready till mid summer at earliest). now filtration comes to mind i found a cool set up for a Betta drip system but i am using real tanks and want to modify the design to include overflow boxes in stead of drilling.... on the other hand i know the little guys dont care for a ton of flow so i was thinking run each fish his own sponge filter and get a single air pump to run them all.... down side is of course heaters.. with air i need to heat each tank with sump i have one filter and only two heaters in the sump.... soooo how about some in put....
