Question about 55 Gallon Tank Stock

I just upgraded to my first 55 gallon tank and I currently have several fish but feel like the tank looks kind of empty and boring. Here is a list of what I have.

2 Marbled Angels (non-mating)
3 Dwarf Gouramis
3 False Rummy Nose Tetras
3 Harlequin Rasboras
3 Emerald Cory Catfish
4 Golden Mystery Snails
4 Glass Catfish

I would like to improve the tank by adding more fish. What would you recommend and what new fish could I add to improve the look of my tank while not overcrowding it?

Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Well lets see Gouramis and Angelfish shouldn't be keep together (still not sure about that maybe aggression reason. Just know they shouldn't be together.) Also if the Angels are not mated then they should be kept in a group of atleast 5. Though I don't know along they have been this way and it may be impossible to add more to this pair now.
False Rummy Nose Tetras should be in a group of atleast 6 but preferably more. The same goes for the Harlequin Rasboras.
Cory cats are highly social fish and need to be in groups larger then 3. 6 is a must with them but once again more is better.
I would suggest reading the profiles of these fish in the tropical fish profiles. There is a profile on each of those fish you have.
With that said I would up the numbers on these groups (with exception of the angels). Also might consider choicing between the Gouramis and the angles. Now I don't know if you will be overstocked if you up the numbers or not. I just know that these fish need to be in larger groups.

Typically you should not keep Gourami with Angels, but why mess with what works. If you have had this setup for a while with no problems I wouldn't change it. Increasing the number of Angels could create some problems with aggression. I would however increase the number of Rummy Nose and Rasbora. You could easily get away with 9 of each assuming you have good filtration and live plants. Also, the bottom of your tank seems quite empty. I keep 15 cory cats in my 55.

Thanks to both! I have had my Dwarf Gouramis with my Angels for a while now and although I did see aggression in my 30 gallon it seemed to have stopped when I moved them to the 55. They each chose a side of the tank and decided to stay there.

As for the Cory Cat's I am happy to hear I can have more as I really love these guys and enjoy watching them play and swim together. They are really fun fish.

For the other smaler guys I will definitely stock up to at least 6 of each very soon. I have always wanted to be I have the same setup above in a 30 gallon and was afraid to add anything else. Once I get my stock up over the weekend and everything else taken care of I will definitely add photos.

Also are their any other fish suggestions that might fit in peacefully with the group listed about? I would like to find one other cool fish to add to my tank.

I Bristlenose Pleco would be nice as long as you have some driftwood in the tank.
