problem with snails

You could make a snail trap. Take a small plastic water bottle (remove the label) or a tupperware container. Using a screwdriver poke a hole/holes into the cap/lid. Put some kind of bait in the container such as shrimp pellets. Leave it in your tank for a day or two. The snails crawl in to get the food but can't crawl back out.

Big Ant iv got plenty of assasins, i keep my lfs supplied with them, well every 3 - 4 months anyway> Let me know where in uk and i might be able to help

With the weather as it is i wouldnt risk mailing anything for that kind of distance, im in the west midlands. You could try here tho, there based in Ipswich

If you want to kill them you can get some copper plant fertilizer and just dose the tank with the recommended amount.

My LFD in Northamptonshire (UK) sells assassin snails and they also have them in Pets at Home here. There is a Pets at Home in Great Yarmouth, have you tried there?

Ever since I put a Loach in my 60gal the snails are gone.
