possible tankmates for 6 gallon...

c. aeneus were my first ever tropical fish!
the habrosus are soo cute. are they a type of Pygmy Cory or just a normal one? they kind of remind me of the pygmy corys.
i had 3 pandas but they died of fungus i really want to get some more and maybe some sterba's, but i've decided to turn my tank into an asian biotope...which means no corys! just trying something different i guess. i've stuck with south american fish for so long, except for the occasional gourami.

Habrosus along with Hastatus and Pygmaeus make up the Pygmy Cory species.

Both SE Asia and SA have blackwater streams with very similar water parameters. I have both. :3
They bring me joy equally.

if only i had two tanks. *sigh* i'm planning on getting dwarf loaches for my main tank, along with a shoal of cherry barbs. no room for corys with that lot...

Yeah. I wish I could have more/bigger tanks too... If I could I would have a school of every kind of tetra and cory. :D

i was just reading another thread where Byron was saying that you could keep 3 medium size corys in a 5 gallon with a betta. i am a cory addict so that sounds amazing, and i've also decided i want to keep some more bettas and have a betta sorority. would 3 corys and another female betta or two be ok in my 6 gal or is that really overstocked? i dont have a substrate in there and no filter either but heaps of floating plants. when i get my gravel for the main tank i might put some in the 6 gal too and maybe then i can get some crypts.
