Is it possible shipping ?

I'm not sure how but is possible to ship 2 12-14" catfish? I have a guy in NY that's wants two catfish that came in a tank I just bought. He also wants 2 pleco's probably about 5-6" I'm thinking of putting them in tupperware and shipping them. Any ideas on this?

They probably wouldn't survive long in tupperware. You would need some large bags designed specifically for shipping fish. Pack those in a box lined with styrofoam.

In all honesty unless the catfish are something rare.. it's probably not worth it.

Yeah I ship fish all the time just not fish this size. I want and need them gone and the local stores don't have anywhere to put fish this big. I read somewhere online about putting pleco's in tupperware just don't know anyone who's done it.

I can't see the cost being worth it. Your looking at $50 or likely more to ship fish that size. The issue with the pleco is the spins to a bag will not work. Tupperware is likely to leak.

Do yourself a favor and put the fish on your local craigs list no need for shipping then.

I did put them on craigslist but I'm in the middle of nowhere in WV people don't even know what cragslist is.

I had someone call wanting me to drive them 3hrs so they could put them in a 30g, I was like yeah probably not. I'm actually from a bigger city in NC I really miss craigslist everyone used it, we don't even have a good sale paper. About all we have is a ton of yard sales, the benefits of living in the sticks, it took me 3 months to find 2 tanks.
