The goby can be healthy in salinity levels from freshwater to marine as long as it has lots of time to acclimate; they're really adaptable. It would probably be healthiest with the salinity between 1.005 and 1.008, but I could be wrong, because mine is freshwater. As for aggression, they are actually pretty harmless. They're practically blind and are bottom/filter feeders, so any small things living on the substrate are the only things at risk, and even if the goby would eat them, it probably didn't mean to.
