I was at petsmart tonight and I got 2 mystery snails and a corkscrew valsneria because it was cheap and I kind of wanted one. :3 Oh and I got 4-5 baby guppies they had there! :D

Ok so anyways, apparently in ORANGE COUNTY you now have to sign something EVERY time you buy even a FISH that they could cause disease or something and you shouldn't have them around food?

Who else thinks this is stupid? I understand for turtles and stuff but fish it just seems weird.

And california always has these "dfsdfasdf is known to the state of california to cause cancer" and like EVERYTHINg causes cancer in california. Who else thinks this is dumbbb???

After typing anything immediately wash your hands with a good disinfecting soap. Which is also known to cause cancer. AS well as the water in your tap. And the pipes. Hell just don't do anything.

Pot's legalized? I don't watch the news much. I thought it was only being pushed to be legalized and was legalized in a few areas... I don't support legalizing it, though... :/

Well, I know for a fact that fish TB can be passed on to humans. It's pretty serious, actually. Although at some point, if you've got warnings for literally everything it's hard to take any of them seriously.

In the state of CA, pot is legal as long as you have a medical card. To get a medical card, you simply go to the doctor, tell him/her you're stressed, pay $120 for the "medical card" and viola, you have the right to walk into any dealer and buy pot. It's looked at the same way as alcohol. As long as you are not under the influence while driving or operating heavy machinery, being a nuissance to the public, or selling to a minor, you're good to go. You can even walk down the street and smoke, just like it's a cigarette. I only know this because my brother recently moved to CA and was shocked at the huge differences between West coast and East coast laws, although it's still the US. Pretty crazy stuff.

Batman makes a good point about the fish TB. It is pretty serious and we humans can contract it from fish.

Colorado recently legalized medical weed. There's already all kinds of crap because of it. Former pro football player growing to sell and got busted lol, break ins to steal the stuff, etc...
Kym come get the Cali folks back. A lot have moved here and they are trying to ruin CO like they did Cali.

I've been taking zoology this semester, I've pretty much come to the conclusion that every living thing may hold some type of parasite that will infect me.

Fish TB is one, but that is really rare. Salmonella is another possibility. There are so many microorganisms crawling around in a fish tank its hard to say.
