New Nano Planted/Betta Tank!

This is my Fluval Spec two gallon tank. It has a Hydor 25 watt heater, filter (I still have yet to see if the spong over it is still too strong for the betta), and some plants and a decoration. My light is 13 watt flourescent.

Yesterday, my HC, Dwarf Hairgrass, and Peruensis arrived and I planted them and today I went to Petco and picked up this little betta. I think he will become more colorful and will grow some. I hope the plants will take care of the ammonia!

My plan is for the ground to be covered by a carpet of Dwarf Hairgrass and HC.

Did you just add the betta in in that photo? He has some serious stress stripes, which shouldn't be there.

Yes, I just added him. I'm assuming those are from the pet store because that's what he looked like there!
